Medibank Private have recently released their new campaign which uses digital to drive memberships. The aim is to remove the idea that buying health insurance is difficult!
The campaign focuses on 3 key points:
- Comparisons using the PHIO website (privatehealth.gov.au). Health insurers self rate their products under Budget, Medium and Top. Medibank Private have shown a selection of these to help the user compare and save.
- Medibank Private are providing an incentive in the form of 10% cash back each month for a year if you purchase online!
- Choosing and buying health insurance simpler.
A key focus was on providing a rich user experience compared to other online private health fund purchasing processes.
Utilising flash we were able to make the process more exciting. It also allowed us to introduce avatars which allow the user to personalise their experience based on their ‘profile’, plus the state selector changes landscape based on your location.
Accompanied with a strong media campaign, Medibank Private are sure to be hungry for more.
